• He was an officer of the Indian Administrative Service and he retired as Additional Chief Secretary of U.P.
• He was the first Director General of the North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach.
• He was India’s Permanent Representative, for two years, to the World Metrological Organization in Geneva and was Counsellor at the Indian Embassy in Moscow
• As the Director General he introduced the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).

Mr. Bisheshwari Singh holds more than 24 years of diversified experience of the general insurance industries and other development sectors including agriculture insurance.

• He is an engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee with experience of 35 years in various capacities in different fields of State Government and GOI. Since 2005, he was mission coordinator of National Mission on Bamboo Applications till Dec 2013 and Director in NECTAR till 2017.
• He had been associated in agriculture sector by way associating with insurance companies for the PMFBY scheme
